Our Quality and Environment Certificates

  • EN ISO 1461 (Europe) and ASTM A 123 (USA): Our principles in the galvanising process are based on the EN ISO 1461 standard as well as ASTM A 123, which regulates the requirements for the corrosion protection of steel structures by hot-dip galvanising. By fulfilling this standard, we ensure durable and high-quality surfaces.
  • DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001: ZINKPOWER companies are certified according to these internationally recognised standards for quality and environmental management.
  • ISO 50001: In all German plants and at ZINKPOWER Neumarkt the Energy management systems have been certified in accordance with DIN EN 50001. This underlines our goal of optimising energy consumption and reducing the environmental impact in all areas of production.
  • U-sign - DASt (German Steel Commission) Guidelines 022: Since November 2009, all European zinc coating shops have been certified in accordance with the “U-sign - DASt (German Steel Commission) Guidelines 022” Certificate of Conformity. Our own certified examiners are available to perform magnetic particle testing in accordance with DIN EN 473.
  • EN 1090: All European ZINKPOWER companies are certified to DIN EN 1090. Manufacturers of load-bearing steel structures, such as metalworking or metal- and steel fabrication companies, are only able to sell their products within the European Union by using the CE conformity label. The corrosion protection of steelworks is also regulated by this standard. The following applies to hot-dip galvanizing:
  • The DASt-Directive 022 which became mandatory in 2009 fully satisfies the requirements of EN 1090. To ensure compliance, all our sites are annually checked by the “ifo – Institute for Surface Technology GmbH”

Rely on a trusting partnership with ZINKPOWER and benefit from our service, our corrosion protection advice and the leading quality in hot-dip galvanising - because your success is our incentive.
